Sex Therapy

My Sister's Secrets now has a licensed therapist on-site specializing in sex therapy.

What Is Sex Therapy?

Sex therapy is a specialized form of counseling that supports individuals and couples in exploring their relationship with sex, intimacy, desire, and connection in a safe, non-judgmental space.

Rather than focusing on performance or “fixing” bodies, sex therapy centers on communication, emotional safety, beliefs about sex, and personal values.

Sessions may explore topics such as sexual confidence, desire differences, boundaries, shame, anxiety around sex, relationship dynamics, and identity with always being at the client’s pace and comfort level. Sex therapy is talk-based, educational, and collaborative, with the goal of helping clients develop healthier, more fulfilling relationships with themselves and others.

Areas of Focus

Sex Communication

Healthy intimacy starts with honest communication. This area of focus helps individuals and couples build the skills needed to express desires, boundaries, fears, and needs without shame or conflict. Clients learn how to talk about sex in ways that feel respectful, clear, and emotionally safe—both in and out of the bedroom.

Consensual Non-Monogamy (CNM)

I provide affirming, non-judgmental support for individuals and couples exploring or practicing consensual non-monogamy. Sessions may focus on navigating boundaries, jealousy, trust, communication, and alignment of values. The goal is not to push any relationship structure, but to help clients make intentional, informed choices that support emotional well-being and relational health.

Sex Worker Positivity

This practice is sex-worker affirming and recognizes the unique experiences, challenges, and strengths of individuals who work in or are connected to the sex industry such as exotic dancers, OnlyFans models and adult performers. Therapy may address stigma, boundaries, identity, relationships, safety, and emotional wellness without judgment. All clients deserve care that respects their autonomy, lived experiences, and humanity.

Sex therapy is not about fitting into a mold; it’s about creating a relationship with sex and intimacy that feels authentic, informed, and empowering.
